Associate Director, CTLL
Hello! I am Associate Director of the Center for Teaching, Learning, and Leadership at the University of North Georgia, where I administer a team of center directors and associated fellows who provide faculty development programming to the university at large. In my role, I oversee the management of leadership and teaching awards, conduct assessment of faculty programs, develop and present programming on a wide range of pedagogy topics, and provide leadership in carrying out the CTLL strategic plan.
My fields of scholarly expertise are affective response to music, vocal pedagogy, quantitative human studies research, and teaching and learning pedagogies, and my work is published by the international journal Psychology of Music, Routledge, University of North Georgia Press, and New Directions in Music Education. In addition, I am the recipient of several grants to fund scholarly work. I have been an active clinician presenting at state and national conferences across the United States, and I am passionate about teaching and learning.
