Erik G. Christiansen is an Assistant Professor/Librarian at Mount Royal University in Calgary, Alberta. His research interests include open pedagogy and OER, scaffolded information literacy instruction, and Web accessibility and usability for libraries. Previously, he worked as an educational technology and research support specialist at the University of Alberta’s Faculty of Education, and he was part of the Alberta Open Educational Resources Initiative. He is also an active member of the scholarship of teaching and learning (SoTL) community. Erik holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of British Columbia Okanagan and a Master’s of Library and Information Studies from the University of Alberta.
