Ken Monroe, Instructional Designer, TRU-Open Learning. Ken has 10 years experience at TRU with using technology to deliver courses in an online environment. He is currently quite interested in using H5P elements and video assignments in courses. The Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) project represents an interesting challenge from a design and implementation perspective and also fit well with his previous international learning experiences. He has also completed a study of TRU students who were able to choose between using online proctoring and paper based exam writing, just before the pandemic hit.
